Proclamation- I love this.

I also enjoyed this post from The Horn Book talking about this very Proclamation.

Sly Fox

Stick puppets will soon be heading to NY for "Luv-able and Hug-able" at Gallery Hanahou, December 5th - January 6th, 2011

This is the 5 year anniversary of the show, and I am so happy to have been involved since the beginning. They put up a nifty little treasury on etsy showcasing, many of the artist's involved.

I am going to participate in this Picture Book Idea Month, this year and hopefully come up with 30 ideas in 30 days!
You can still join, just follow the link!

Edit: I cannot believe (as an illustrator myself) I forgot to mention the awesome work of Bonnie Adamson, who did the logo! See more of her work here: http://bonnieadamson.net/

A break, and an interview

I have not posted for awhile, but I have working on quite a few different projects.  I have some plush in the latest Plush You show at Schmancy. Here is an interview  and here is a photo of my guys;

Pixelated Rainbows and Clouds!

Here is the Plush You blog, for more info about the show, and interviews with all kinds of amazing artists!
I am so happy and lucky to be included in such a cool crowd!

I will soon be sending off some stick puppets to Gallery Hanahou in NYC for the annual "Luv-able + Hug-able" show.

Now for blog talk....I started this blog, over a year ago, to keep myself drawing, and posting and working as much as possible. I take a break from time to time, which I just can't help, I don't want to burn out...but I do need to get back into a work routine...so I want to start posting drawings and sketches again, as much as possible, and keep myself busy!
So here goes!
